I'm sorry you don't find some of these tangents interesting. Since I assume you are talking about the PC Hardware class, I must ask whether you would prefer me to just chalk and talk fact after fact the whole class? You don't have the vantage point of seeing everyone sitting in front of you, but I can assure you that these interludes and tangents (most of which add value to the material we are talking about in my opinion) bring many a student out of their slumber, or sometimes re-engages them in the class.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyway, I appreciate the comment. I hope this provides a bit of insight into the method behind the madness.
